Starting a Business the Easy Way

Recently I heard something about a turnkey business opportunity.  I had never heard the term before, so I looked it up, and found out that it refers to a business that is sold ready-to-go.  In other words, there is none of the usual startup stuff required to "start" one of these businesses — the name, merchandise, business plan, etc. all comes with the deal.

You are probably most familiar with turnkey businesses in the form of franchises.  Subway is possibly the most widely known.  Basically, the aspiring business owner purchases the franchise from Subway — so they own the store, but they still are obligated to follow Subway’s menu, decor, business plan, etc.  Other examples of a franchise business for sale include Quiznos and ShipOnSite.

A turnkey business is convenient for many people who have the money, or can get the business loans, to own their own business — but don’t want to go through the difficulty of starting a business from scratch.  It’s also much easier to get financing for a business with an already-proven business model than it is for a small business of your own design.

In any case, it’s worth looking into — a turnkey business opportunity might be ideal for you!
