Random Uses for a Paper Shredder

Who says office paper shredders have to be used for work? Here are several random ways that you can use a paper shredder.
- To get over your ex. Pictures, love notes, you name it — they all make great confetti. Take that!
- To hold your creditors at bay. What bill? I didn’t get any bill. I don’t know what you’re talking about.
- To hide your grades from your parents. I got As, I promise!
- To make a really big mess. Don’t you miss the days when making a mess was normal and expected? Paper shredders give you a really wonderful opportunity to regress to your childhood self. Then tell your boss you’re NOT going to clean it up, either.
- Get back at somebody. Maybe your boss, for writing you up for the mess you just made? You could share a little of that mess with him, or play a fun prank — run a document partway through a strip-cut shredder, turn the shredder off, and then put the document back on his desk where you found it!
Bonus points: With the first four suggestions, be sure to use a really good shredder, like a Fellowes shredder or a cross-cut shredder — something that shreds everything really tiny. The more (pieces), the merrier!
